Kay Eldridge

Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 a.m., Friday, June 7, 2013 at Saint Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church.

Visitation with the family will be 5:00-8:00 p.m., Thursday, June 6, 2013 with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. held at the Chapel of Connally/Compton Funeral Directors.

Kay was born December 30, 1955 to Dorothy (Hutchison) and Buddy Garrett in Waco, Texas. Kay loved her family dearly and was always there when they needed her. Listening to music, dancing and taking sporadic road trips were some of her favorite pastimes. She loved to attend her granddaughters softball games most of all. Kay will be missed by all who were blessed to know and love her.

She is preceded in death by her parents; grandparents; brother, George Garrett; Cousin, Sandra Jackson and other relatives that are waiting at the gates.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of over 35 years Guy Eldridge; children, Lindsey Bederka and husband Michael, Justin Eldridge, and Matthew Eldridge; grandchildren, Zoie Mae (Sugar Boog) and Rhyder (Mason Jar) Bederka; honorary son, Dean Hooper; sister, Peggy Butler; best friend and sister-in-law, Brenda Robb; and many other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, monetary donations may be made to Saint Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church in Waco, TX.
