

Lusiano J. Ursua, 94, of Waco, passed away peacefully Monday, August 30, 2021 at his residence. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 AM Thursday, September 2, 2021 at Saint Francis Catholic Church with Father Eduardo Jazo officiating. Visitation will be 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM with Rosary be recited on Wednesday, September 1st at the funeral home.
Mr. Ursua was born on January 8, 1927 to Andrew and Marie Cruz (Collazo) Ursua in Calvert. Texas. He married Reyna Ursua on August 19, 1948 in Rosebud, Texas and they celebrated over 71 wonderful years together until her death on May 30, 2021. Lusiano worked for the City of Waco Health Department, OK Machine and Brocks Janitorial. He worked every day of his life to provide a comfortable home and enjoy trips with his family. Later he started his own business, L.J. Ursua Janitorial. Lusiano loved fishing, watching the Dallas Cowboys, playing pool and was very good at playing pool, loved dancing and would travel out of town to hear a good band. They met many friends on their out of town dancing spree but most of all he enjoyed spending time and loved his grandchildren and great-grandchildren very much.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, sisters; Julia Chavez, Genoveva Chavez, Crecencia Rodriguez, Regina Ursua and Maria Ursua and brothers; Sotero Ursua and Martin Ursua.
Survivors include his sons; Felix Ursua and wife, Fidela of Hewitt, Bobby Ursua and wife, Lillie of Robinson, Henry Ursua of Waco, grandchildren; Robert, Sandra Rouff (Mike), Teresa Lozano (Marcos), Lindsey Sandoval (Josh) and Adam, great-grandchildren; Jon Erik, Celeste, Felix S., Robert G., Jr., Tatiyanna, Zoe, Monique, Alex, Maresa, Marcos D, Jr. and Maya and several nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.
