Marcus Christopher "Tito Gato" Suasa, 53, of Waco, Texas, passed away on March 12, 2024. He was born on October 7, 1970, at USAF Hospital Wiesbaden, Germany. Marcus had a vibrant personality and a wide range of interests. He was outgoing, friendly, and quick-witted, with a fierce protective nature. He had a creative spirit, enjoying activities such as drawing, playing music by ear, assembling and painting model cars and airplanes, and gardening. Marcus also shared a love of animals and enjoyed attending car and airshows, fishing, NASCAR races, and movies.
In his personal life, Marcus cherished his relationships with his spouse, Greta Miller, his parents Nate and Della Suasa, his sister Sarah Melissa "Missy" Hargrave, and his niece Hannah Hargrave. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Juan, Sr. and Guadalupe Suasa, maternal grandparents David and Sara Olivarez, and honorary grandparents Luther and Lucille Brunson, as well as his uncles Mike and Mingo Suasa.
Marcus attended Kendrick Elementary, Lorena Elementary, and Lorena High School before furthering his studies at Texas State Technical College. Throughout his career, he worked at Trane, CertainTeed, and Time Manufacturing.
Services to honor and remember Marcus Suasa will be held on Wednesday, March 20, 2024, from 6pm-8pm at Connally Compton Funeral Home in Waco, Texas.
