Melinda P. Ramos

Melinda Ramos, 52, passed away Thursday, November 17, 2022 in Waco, Texas. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church on Monday, November 21, 2022 with Father Benji Officiating. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. with Rosary at 7:00 p.m. Sunday, November 20, 2022 at the funeral home.

Mindy was born July 8, 1970 to Benita (Sisneroz) and Pablo Portillo in Rosebud, Texas. She was a longtime resident of Waco, Texas. Mindy married the love of her life, Raul Ramos. Mindy enjoyed joking around with friends and family. Everyone knows she did not know a stranger. She loved being around everyone and making everyone laugh and smile. In which she also had a contagious smile. She loved being around her favorite dogs, JLo and Memo. She loved listening to her favorite songs from Cardi B and Los Rehenes. She also loved dancing. Mindy loved all of her kids and grandbabies (even the ones she gained along the way).

She is preceded in death by grandmother, Francisca Padilla and grandfather, Carmen Sisneroz.

Mindy is survived by her husband of 29 years, Raul Ramos. Daughters, Crystal Portillo, Clarissa Ramos and Myrina Cordova. Grandchildren, Arizeah Botello, Jasel Botello, Niamaya Botello, Joel Botello, Nicolas Alfaro and Naila Gonzalez. Nieces, Carmela Cardenas and Erica Rodriguez. Mother, Benita Sisneroz and Father Pablo Portillo (Maria Portillo). Sisters, Rebecca Lopez, Paula Arevalo (Alejandro Arevalo), Veronica Torres and brother, John Paul Portillo.

Pallbearers will be Jose Botello Jr, John Michael Villa, Joshua Escobedo, Jayden Cardenas, Jonathan Rodriguez, Andrew Sisneroz, Jesse Sisneroz Jr, Alejandro Arevalo, and Mario Cardenas.
