Michael Albert Ellis

Funeral Services will be held 1pm, April 3, 2014 at Church of the Holy Spirit 1624 Wooded Acres Dr. Waco, Texas. Burial will follow at Waco Memorial Park.

The family will receive visitors from 6pm to 8pm, April 2, 2014 at Connally Compton Funeral Directors.

Michael was born January 7, 1946 in Waco, Texas to Fred and Pearl Ellis. He was the co–owner of Ellis Music Company. Michael was a Past Master Mason of Lee Lockwood Lodge 1343, member of the Scottish Rite and Shrine. He was also a member of the Waco Syrian Association. Michael loved to watch Baylor Basketball.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include daughters, Michelle Strowger and husband Larry and Candase Charles and husband Bill of Houston; Companion of 14 years, Ellie Standford; brother, Fred Ellis; grandchildren, Meagan and Will Charles, Victoria and Vallerie Turner, and Jacob Strowger. He is also survived by Michelle Kadlacek, Crystal and Brandon Jones, and Ray and Benja Standford, Taylor , Bailey, Dallie, and Wyatt Jones, Cash, and Cooper Standford.

In lieu of floral arrangements, donations may be made to the Holy Spirit Church in Michael’s Name.
