Norma Trojan Douglas

September 3, 1929 – November 28, 2010

Norma Douglas, 81, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 28, 2010 at her home. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 1, 2010 at St. Matthew Lutheran Church, 800 North New Road, with Pastor Paul Krupicka officiating. Burial will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Park. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, November 30, 2010 at Connally/Compton Funeral Directors.

Norma was born September 3, 1929 in Malone, Texas to Fritz and Hattie (Manske) Trojan. She graduated from 4-C Business College in Waco. She was a member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church Morning Meditation Class and McGregor Garden Club.

Norma was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Victor Trojan, Harold Trojan, and Milton Trojan; and sisters, Ora Ballance and Viola Hennig.

Those left behind to cherish Norma’s memory are her sons, Brian Hennig of Gatesville, and David Hennig and wife, Pam, of Lott; daughter, Marquita Schnaufer and husband, Russell, of Mart; sister-in-law, Thelma Trojan of Irving; loving friend, Don Waddell of Roby; 9 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Pallbearers will be Roy Anderson, Mike Ballance, Ronald Ballance, Doug Hennig, Larry Hennig and James Schwartz.
