Ollie Haigood Price, 86, passed away Wednesday, September 29, 2010 at her residence. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, October 2, 2010 at Connally/Compton Funeral Directors Chapel with Rev. Wayne Blackshear officiating. Burial will follow at Waco Memorial Park. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m., Friday, October 1, 2010 at the funeral home.
Ollie was born September 6, 1924 in Waco, Texas to Hugh and Mary Haigood. She was a member of Primrose Drive Baptist Church.
Ollie was preceded in death by her parents; and sisters, Pearl Sykora and Bessie Simons.
Those left behind to cherish Ollie’s memory are her son, Jim L. Price Jr.; daughter, Susan Walker and husband, Johnny; sisters, Dollie Brown, Hallie Gaskamp, Jewel Witt; grandchildren, Brandon McHaney, Bryan Cockerham, Alicia Price, 10 great grandchildren; brother-in-laws, Reginald Price, Russell Price, Joe Price; and numerous nieces and nephews.
