Prudencio was born July 10, 1944 in Champoton, Campeche, Mexico to Felix and Librada (Ramos) Pevia. He was a lifelong minster. He began his ministry in Mexico when he married the love of his life, Elsy in 1965. They often joked with each other on how they met. In 1961 the love story started, Elsy was visiting in town and happened to walk by his house with a green dress on. Prudencio said “For her I will start going to church”. On a separate occasion before they had even met, he walked by her house and that when Elsy said “Ooooh, What a handsome guy!” Four year later they officially met and married on August 29, 1965.
Prudencio enjoyed music and was a part of the Alpha and Omega Band and the Los Hebreos Band. Later he began to sing with his evangelism and then began pastoring Camino Church in August of 1984. He loved the Lord and was known for quoting his favorite plan of salvation found in Romans 3:23, Romans 6:23, John 1:12, and Revelation 3:20. His last missionary trip was October 1, 2016 in Veracruz, Mexico and came back fired up about his time there.
He was preceded in death by his parents and 3 siblings.
