Funeral Services will be held 1:30p.m., Monday, October 26, at Connally Compton Funeral Directors Chapel with Pastor Wayne Williams officiating. Burial will follow in Robinson Cemetery.
Visitation will be 2 to 4p.m., Sunday, October 25, at Connally Compton Funeral Directors.
Born February 8, 1934 to Evans and Kate Reese, Roland and his wife, Shirley lived in the Waco area for 58 years, operating the family owned auction service. Roland and Shirley were married for 59 years and were blessed with a daughter, two sons, and two grandchildren. He was a graduate of Texas A&M and served in both the US Army Reserves and Texas National Guard. Roland was a Mason and a longtime member of the First United Methodist Church of Waco.
