Rosia E. Martin, 93, of Bryan, formerly of Waco, passed away Saturday, May 31, 2014 in a local hospital. Graveside services will be 2:00 PM, Thursday, June 5, 2014 in Rosemound Cemetery with the Reverends Donald Phelps and Elvis Cureton officiating.
Mrs. Martin was born on May 17, 1921 in Jewett, Texas to Loyd and Etter (Woodall) Phelps. She was a cosmetologist, seamstress and member of Oakwood Baptist Church. Mrs. Martin took care of her loving daughter; Joan Marie for over 59 years until her death in 2002. She was also preceded in death by her parents, husband; Clarence Martin, 4 sisters and 4 brothers.
Survivors include several nieces and nephews and numerous great and great-great nieces and nephews.
