Suzie Villarrial

Suzie Villarrial, born May 10, 1935, of Waco, Texas passed away peacefully Tuesday, February 3, 2015. Visitation and Rosary will be at 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Friday, February 6, 2015 at Connally-Compton Funeral Home with Deacon Jesse Garza officiating. Graveside services will be at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, February 7, 2015 at Waco Memorial Park.

Suzie worked various jobs throughout the years including Automatic Chef, Waco Apparel, Super K Mart, and caring for children. She adored her family and loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She also loved spending time with her sister Angelita who was also her best friend. She woke up every morning with a smile on her face trying to get out the door to see what adventure was in store for her. A normal trip to the grocery store or the mall would take her hours because she would stop and talk to friends and workers alike.

Suzie was preceded in death by her parents, John and Beatrice Riojas and one sister, Olivia Corley.

She is survived by her loving husband of over 54 years, Moses Villarrial; sons, Richard W. Perez and wife, Frances of San Antonio, Texas, Gerald R. Villarrial and wife, Jamie of Waco, Texas; two sisters, Angelita Rodriguez of Waco, Texas, Julia Riojas and husband, Bartoloman of Waco, Texas; five brothers, Thomas Riojas and wife Marina of Waco, Texas, Frank Riojas and wife Maria of Arlington, Texas, John Riojas, Jr. and wife Prue of San Antonio, Texas, Joe Riojas and wife Chris of Riverside, California and Ralph Riojas and friend Yolanda of Waco, Texas. Grandchildren, Matthew, Melissa, Taylor, Madison, Meredith, Cole, Cooper and Matt. Great Grandchildren, Luciano and Leilani; and many nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank the staff at Baylor Scott and White Hospital. Specifically, the Cancer Center and the Rapid Surgical team at Baylor Scott and White, Temple, Texas. We would also like to thank Bluebonnet Health Services for their professionalism and caring in this difficult time.
