Vera Jo Mann, 81, passed away Wednesday, September 1, 2010 in a local nursing home. Funeral Services will be 2:00 p.m., Friday, September 3, 2010 at Connally/Compton Funeral Directors Chapel. Burial will follow at Waco Memorial Park.
Vera Jo was born December 28, 1928 in Shelbyville, Tennessee to James and Lettie Mann.
Vera Jo was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Dana Hawkins; and son, Michael Mann.
Those left behind to cherish Vera Jo’s memory are her sons, Marc L. Mann and wife, Debbie, and Carey Mann and wife, JoCarol; sister, Harriet Briggs; 13 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff of Texan Nursing & Rehabilitation of Waco and Bluebonnet Hospice for their love and care given to Vera Jo.
