Peterson Family,

I'm very sadden by the news of Ronnies' passing. My prayers and thought are with you during this difficult time. Ronnie will surely be missed. She was definitely a gift to me as well as all of those she came in contact with! She was very loving and friendly to everyone and well respected. I will forever cherish the memory of her and the last words she spoke to me as one of the best supervisors I've had.

Although we never actually met in person, I spent many many hours on the phone with you. You became such a close friend and I will truly miss you. Thank you for always taking the time to share your knowledge and to just laugh with me. My deepest condolences to Ronnie’s family. I was surprised and saddened by her passing. I had the great privilege of working with Ronnie at Kelly AFB prior to the base closure. She was always positive and helped everyone who needed assistance. I know she made life at work much more enjoyable. Although we lost touch, I have always remembered her as one of the kindest people in the group. My prayers go out to all who loved her. I know she will be missed. God keep all of you in the palm of his hand.

Peterson Family-

What a blessing for us at AFPC to have had Ronnie share her expertise and time with your family and our AFPC family. She was truly a friend to me in sharing her HR knowledge and family experiences with me. I worked with her almost 20 yrs ago on Eastern Division. I guess over the years we became what you might call "parking buddies." We came in to work at a later shift at the same time and left way after "Retreat and to the Colors" was played or in the dark of the night. We shared fond memories of our trials and tribulations with work and family and shared our funny memories as well. We prayed every evening there we would not run across any skunks near the Airman Leadership School building where we often parked by. We prayed no skunks would be under our cars as well. Ronnie is and always will be a great person as a friend, co-worker, and supervisor and always watched out for her AFPC team members. Bless you dear Ronnie and your family-another angel is up there in heaven looking at us all-Rest in Peace and we will miss you very much until we meet again .

Ronnie, every time I hear "Retreat and to the Colors" and "Taps" I will remember and say a prayer - Ronnie-We Salute You!!

I am SO SORRY for you loss! When I think about Ronnie, I first remember her always talking about her family. She was so proud of her children and you could tell her family was her priority. From a work perspective, I will always remember how passionate she was about taking care of her team and wanting to ensure we took the time to allow for training. We will miss her smile, generosity, concern for others and her passion for doing things correctly in Human Resources for the Air Force.
Praying for you and your family. Sincerely, Sonja Crownover

Words cannot even begin to express my condolences to the family. I was fortunate enough to have the opportunity to work by Ronnie’s side. We spent many evenings working late. She was one of the most knowledgeable staffers at AFPC. Too many times people sought her out for assistance because they knew she’d have the right answer. She was too kind of a person to tell people she had her own work to get done. Her beautiful smile and loving ways always come out. The greatest part about working for her was she made everyone on her team feel a part of a big family. She called us Wingmen when we were really her children. She always spoke about her family with such pride and admiration. Her cute nickname, Joe Bear to Jaquelyn’s goats. The way she always said, “John-Robert!” To visiting the family in Waco. We used to kid about taking the weekend and going to visit her mom and dad, sisters, nieces and nephews to hang out with her. We used to decorate the office for the holidays and she would come and start putting things out. I’d come and move them around. She always said that her sister would do the same thing to her. She had the biggest heart. My fondest memory was when O’Conner played Clemens High School football. She was on visitor side and I was on home. We kept texting each other back and forth acting like we were high school rivals. I will always cherish the fun we had. Now I know God has her by his side smiling down on us.
