Chick was known for his great sense of humor, his soft-spoken nature, and his quiet strength. He was skilled with his hands and took great pride in his orange 1978 Dodge Ramcharger. He also loved motorcycles and returned to riding after retirement, despite the good-natured objections of his wife.
Above all, Chick loved his family. He and Josephine played an active role in caring for their grandchildren during their early years, creating countless memories and building bonds that will endure for generations. He treasured time spent with Isabella, Sophia, Landon, and Jackson and took great pride in watching them grow.
He will be remembered for his kindness, his steady presence, his love of baseball, and the example he set through a life of hard work, humility, and devotion to those he loved.
