Alexa had multiple career roles and skills that she used to her fullest. She was an Executive Assistant at Booze, Allen, and Hamilton. She Founded and was the CEO of “Childs’s Play” Daycare in downtown Washington D.C., she was a Local News Editor for the South Maui Times and was a Manager at Browning Ferris Industries. Alexa was also a Project Manager for Lokahi Pacific, a Program Director at Focus Maui Nui (MEDB) and a Community Development Consultant for About Maui Nui.
Alexa loved gardening, traveling, spending time with Family and also her cat Lili.
Alexa will be missed dearly by her loving family. She is survived by her husband, Rex Basinger; her son, Matthew Betts Robinson; Sisters, Karen Quill, Lorna Betts, Janis Betts; Brother, Naess Betts; and numerous cousins.
At her request there will be no services.
Donations can be made in her name to Hospice Maui.
