Anthony Alan Vierra, 59, of Wailuku, passed away on Friday, September 30, 2011 at Maui Memorial Center. Mr. Vierra was born on November 18, 1951 in Lahaina. He was a criminal defense attorney and was a named Attorney of the Year by the Maui County Bar Association in 2010. He also served with the United States Navy in Vietnam. He is survived by his son, Corey Vierra; companion Kimberly Hue Sing; two, brothers, Kerwin G. (Sue), Walter P. Vierra; and three sisters, Jo-Ellen M., Rosie I. (Bobby), and Gertrude "Trudi" F. (Greer) Vierra; and a lifetime friend, Mike Irwin. He is preceded in death by his parents, Anthony J. and Gertrude Chung Vierra; and a sister, Sister Ann Gertrude Vierra.
Visitation: Family and friends are invited to gather for memorial services on Saturday, October 22, 2011 at Maria Lanakila Catholic Church in Lahaina. Visitation will begin at 9 a.m.Services: Mass over his urn at 11 a.m.Interment: Burial will follow at the church cemetery. Followed by a Celebration of Life at his residence 2 p.m.
