Artrina Josann Kanuuhiwa De Lima, known as Trina, passed away on Sunday May 19th, 2024 after the removal of life support at Maui Memorial Medical Hospital. She was born on February 17th, 1979 in Kaunakakai, Molokaʻi to Arthur De Lima Sr. and Jo Ann "Iwa" Manintin. Jo Ann and Arthur moved with their family to Maui around 1984. Trina, considered her children to be her "HOME".
Although Trina was dealt some of the most difficult cards this life could offer, she always knew how to see the good in things. Trina was known for her many talents, from Lomi-Lomi, to cooking, Lei Making, Singing and her outstanding artistic skills. But her favorite accomplishment was being a MOM.
As you look at her children and watch them grow, our only hope is that you see Trina too. In them she instilled The Love of God, Strength, The Heart to Care for Others, The Courage to Stand Up for What is Right and Jokes to Brighten Anyones Day! :)
Trina was a true LIGHT! She was a firm believer of Christ and shared his love wherever she went. Our family finds peace knowing she now sits along side our Heavenly Father. ❤️
