

Bernice J. Perreira, 80, of Haiku passed away peacefully at home on June 3, 2018. She was born on May 4, 1938 in Kula, Maui. She and her late husband were owners of Pal's Hog Farm and previous to that Pal's Poultry Farm.She is predeceased by husband, Wilfred "Pal" Perreira, son, William J. Perreira, Sr., siblings, Joseph "Coby" Vegas, Rosemarie Freitas, 3 grandchildren, Kristopher Aguirre, Jonathan Aguirre, Timothy "Timmy" Cambra; 1 great grandson, Daniel Perreira. She is survived by 4 daughters, Bernadette (Ricky) Aguirre, Doreen (Godwin) Pu, Winifred (Louis) Cambra, Jacqueline (Bernard) Apigo, brothers, Alexander "Alec" Vegas, Sr., Patrick (Sharon) Vegas, sister, Rita (Susan) Vegas, brother-in-law, Kenneth "Blackie" Freitas, 9 grandchildren, Malcolm Aguirre, William Perreira, Jr., Joseph Perreira, Joleen Rodrigues, Benjamin Rodrigues, Paul Pu, Jody Cambra, Jerni Cambra and Brandie Rose Shaner and 19 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 23, 2018, at St. Rita's Church, Haiku. Mass will begin at 11:00 a.m., burial will follow, 2:00 p.m., at Maui Memorial Park Cemetery in Wailuku. Norman's Mortuary is assisting with funeral arrangements. We especially want to give thanks to Dr. David Seriguchi and staff, also to Dr. James Muto and his staff at Maui Cardiology Ltd.
