Carl Nilsson Powell, 59, of Lahaina, passed away on October 2, 2015 at Maui Memorial Medical Center. He was born on April 12, 1956 in Long Beach, California. The youngest of two children. Corky was a talented chef, musician, and contractor. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved the beach and gardening. Corky always had a smile on his face, and was a friend to all he met.A Celebration of his life will be held on December 6th, 2015 in Lahaina at Upper Wahikuli Wayside Park(One Way Park) from 2-4 pm. Please bring a chair and a pupu to share.Corky was preceded in death by his parents Carl and Eileen, and his nephew Craig. He is survived by his daughter Heather, his sons Ian and Jordan, his grandchildren Ally, Trinity, and Micah, his sister Carol Ann, his neice Andrea, and his nephews Ryan and Nick.A hui hou Corky.
