Christian was born in Honolulu, Hawaii on June 24, 1974. He was a gifted musician and athlete as he was a member of the popular Dallas, Texas band, Downlo and played club level soccer through high school. Christian shared his love of music, soccer and gaming with his son, Nainoa.
Christian was preceded in death by his father, Mel Cabang. He is survived by his son Nainoa Cabang, brother, Mel Cabang, Jr., mother, Linda Weinmann and aunt, Lorna Silkwood. Additional survivors include cousins, Jaime Callahan, Darryl Slate, Joy Cabang, Buzzy and Lurene Kaneta.
Family and friends will hold private memorials in Hawaii and Dallas, Texas to be announced at a later date.
