Christian "Kaliko Palo" E. Bal, Jr., 66, of Wailuku, passed away on Saturday, September 24, 2011 at Maui Memorial Medical Center. "Kaliko Palo" was born on July 7, 1945 in Wailuku, Maui. He was a devoted member of the Baha'i Faith, he is a Registered Hawaiian with Operation 'Ohana: A Service of Office of Hawaiian Affairs, he also was a talented musician who loved his Hawaiian music and culture. He is preceded in death by his parents, Christian E. Bal Sr. and Harriet Huimomi Louise Rose Bal.
