Cranstan Jim Rodrigues McCabe

Cranstan Jim Rodrigues McCabe passed away peacefully on July 29,2025 in the comfort of his own home. He was 50 years old.

Born on April 20,1975 at Kapiolani Medical Center in Honolulu to Marie (Wahinehookae) McCabe and James Rodrigues. He is survived by his Mom Marie, Dad James, brothers Steven McCabe, Jimmy Rodrigues and many family and friends. He is predeceased by his brothers Jason McCabe and Charles McCabe.

After graduating from Moanalua High School, he moved to Maui. He worked at Kapalua Bay Hotel and Lahaina Ace Hardware where he spent 14 years and was promoted to Supervisor.

Cranstan loved being surrounded by his family and friends, drinking Heineken’s and the New York Giants!!

Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday August 23, 2025 starting at 10am in Napili at his home, 5458 L Honoapiilani Road aka Dirt Road. Scattering of ashes and lunch to follow.

The Family of Cranstan would like to Mahalo all the staff at Maui Memorial Hospital, Hospice of Maui and the countless Family and Friends for their care, love and support throughout his adventurous journey.
