Dale “Darlene” Frances Takase, 72, of Kahului, Maui, Hawaii, formerly Molokai, passed away on May 24, 2017, under the care of Hospice Maui. She was born on September 19, 1944, on Molokai.A celebration of Darlene’s life ( potluck ) will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 15, 2017, at Kanaha Beach Park.Darlene was predeceased by her husband, Kenneth Takase. She is survived by her sons, Kenneth Michael (Jennifer) Takase, Francis Takase; hanai sons, Kawika, Ronald, Leif Sasada; hanai daughter, Fran (James Ballao) Takase; granddaughter, Chandie (Kaui) Owan; grandsons, Colby Takase, Chaisen “Pono” Takase; and great granddaughters, Lexie Grace Owan and Rylie Renee Owan.The family would like to thank Hospice House Maui for their care and support during this difficult time.
