Daniel Ganancial Sr.

Daniel is remembered with deep respect and enduring affection, honored as a brave man whose life was cherished by those who knew and loved him.

He was the son of Cecilia Vierra and Perfecto Ganancial.

Daniel served in the US Navy. He was also associated with Aloha Electric Oahu, and he later retired from the Maui Police Department in Lahaina.

Daniel is survived by his wife, Carol Ganancial; his daughter, Michelle (Ganancial) Holmes; his son, Daniel Ganancial Jr.; his grandchildren, Michael Ganancial, Tylor Prince, and Heather Ganancial; and his great-grandchildren, Lelan Ganancial, Noah Ganancial, and Elias Ganancial. He was preceded in death by his brother, +Perfecto Ganancial Jr. aka Tudy Boy.

He will be remembered for his incredible humor and dedication to family.

Visitation will be held at Christ the King Church, 20 W. Wakea Avenue, Kahului, HI 96732, on July 9, 2026, at 9:00 am. A Mass will follow at the same location on July 9, 2026, at 11:00 am. Lunch will be held in the Church Hall at Christ the King Church, at 12:00 pm.
