Dorothy June Gonzales, 83, of Kula, Maui, passed away on October 24, 2016. She was born on June 21, 1933, in Puunene. June was known for her awesome Portuguese sweet and milk breads made at home and always delivered fresh.Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 17, 2016, at Holy Ghost Church in Kula; mass will begin at 11:00 a.m.; burial will follow, 1:00 p.m., at the Maui Veteran’s Cemetery in Makawao with lunch to follow at Holy Ghost Church hall.Dorothy is survived by her son, Joseph John Gonzales, Jr.; daughters, Ethelreada Bode, Renee A. Gonzales; granddaughters, Kassie Bode, Kelly (George) Cordeiro, Reane Gonzales-Tavares; 4 great grandchildren; brothers, Caesar (Maryann) Rezentes, Jr. and Alan Rezentes; Also, a very big Mahalo to all the first responders who came to her aid.
