Florinda Rose Andres Freitas

Rose, was born in Punene and was employed as a baker at Makawao School until she retired and volunteered for the Catholic Church thrift store. She was very dedicated to her family with lots of love and support along with her cat Chinze and her dog Sunshine.

Rose is predeceased by her parents Pedro Andres and Simproza Sagadraca, sisters Marcelina Dumlao Cachola & Theodora Hill. Rose is also survived by her children: Wayne Freitas, Manuel "Donnie" Freitas III, Sheran (Clayton) Allencastre, Gina Freitas, Paul (Danette Neizman) Freitas along with 8 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren and a sister Conchita Leavy.

An immediate family private viewing followed by cremation. A mass service will be on Saturday, August 19, 2023 at St. Rita's Catholic Church in Haiku. Visitation of Urn with family is from 9:00 - 9:30 and to the public 9:30 - 11:00 followed with mass service. A luncheon will follow the services. A private burial with immediate family at a later date.

The family would like to extend a big Mahalo to the first responders, emergency room and staff of Maui Memorial Hospital and Norman's Mortuary that assisted with the arrangements.
