Frances Leimamo Kahalehoe

Frances Leimamo Kahalehoe, 81, died on July 5, 2023 in Kahului, Maui under Hospice care with her Ohana by her side. She was born on June 28, 1942 in Peahi, Maui and lived her entire life in Haiku, Maui. She was the daughter of Simeon and Emma Imi (Honokaupu) Kuailani.

Frances is survived by her daughter, Mary Jane Kahalehoe (Russell) Startzman, son, Joaquin Kahalehoe III, daughter, Joelaine Imilani Kahalehoe (Christopher) DeLuze , daughter, Joy (Henry) Puckett, son, William Kahalehoe, 12 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. She is also survived by her sister Laura Fern L. Hafoka, sister Linda Kaneapua, brother George Kuailani, sister Kehau Kuailani, sister Kathleen Kuailani, sister Carol Keanini (Barney), and sister Laura Ann Kuailani.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Joaquin Kahalehoe Jr. and her siblings,brothers Paul Kuailani, Simeon Kuailani Jr, Herman Kuailani, Sam Kuailani, Charles Kuailani and sister Violete Poouahi.

A funeral services will be held at Norman's Mortuary in Wailuku, Maui, Hawaii on Friday August 11, 2023. Public viewing will be held from 6:00pm to 9:00pm with prayer services at 7:00pm. A celebration of life will be held the following day, Saturday, August 12, 2023 from 11:30am to 5:00pm at the 4th Marine Division Park in Kokomo/Haiku aka Giggle Hill.
