Franklin was born in Lanai City, HI on July 9, 1968. Throughout his life, he worked in the hotel industry in various positions.
Franklin enjoyed the outdoors while fishing, hunting, and camping with close friends and family.
He was preceded in death by his father Andres Velasco Sr, his sister Marie Velasco, and his mother Brigida Velasco.
He is survived by his brothers, Andres Velasco Jr (Karen) and Dennis Velasco (Jennifer); his sister Bernice Kamalu (Dendrick); his nieces Micah Velasco-Giles (Edward), Nicole Wilder (Zachary), and Tara Velasco-Kamalu; his nephews Jacob Fuchigami and Jonah Velasco along with 3 grand nieces and 4 grand nephews.
The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to those who have offered prayers, love and support during this time.
Celebration of life services to be held on August 29, 2026, at 9:00am at Kings Chapel, 1001 Fraser Ave, Lanai City, HI.
