

Fred was born on September 12, 1928 and loved by his parents Cirilo Ranisis Baisa and Rachael Kekiwi Baisa.
Being the eldest, he had a sense of responsibility to always provide for the family. He joined the Army National Guard in 1947 until his Honorable Discharge in 1963, worked for several years on Johnston Island where he also had a passion for martial arts and became a Kajukenbo Instructor. When he returned home, Fred worked for Libby McNeil-Pineapple Company, MEO as a Energy Conservation Specialist, and his later years, worked as a Bus Aide and Grounds Keeper for MEO, and retired on October 11, 2018.
Freddie loved being with his family, Camping, Fishing, Hunting. He loved Sports, Fixing things with his hands and Reading. Freddie was very active in Church and had a strong faith in God.
He is survived by his wife, Veronica Baisa; sons, Freddie (Kaily) Baisa Jr., Josiah Baisa (Maria); Loved by his brothers, Eugene Baisa Sr., Lawrence Baisa Sr., Wilson Baisa Sr., Sherman Baisa, Elliott Baisa; his sisters, Dora Baisa-Chung-Louis, Gloria Hipolito, Valda Andaya; Hanai Brothers, Joseph Kekiwi, Merton Kekiwi, Wallace Palafox, Richard Tavares; Grandchildren, Kaiya Baisa, Kayla Baisa, Kayden Baisa, Kuha‘o Baisa, & Keliko Baisa.
Freddie will forever be missed.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, September 19, 2025 at Faith In Jesus Church, 432 Waiehu Beach Road, Wailuku, Maui, Hawai‘i. Public Visitation will start at 9:00 a.m., Service at 10:30 a.m., Burial will be at Valley Isle Memorial Park Cemetery in Haiku at 2:00 p.m.
