Gloria G Tabangcura

Born on April 20, 1940, in Santa Maria, Philippines, Gloria was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. She worked throughout her life in the hotel industry, adult day care, and at Sears.

Gloria enjoyed hula, ballroom dancing, cooking, shopping, baking, arts and crafts, volunteering, making new friends, and spending time with her grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Apolonio “Danny” Tabangcura.

She is survived by her children, Ernest (Tammy Oliva) Tabangcura and Dwight (Gloria Sanchez) Tabangcura; her grandchildren, Bryon (Malori) Tabangcura, Naomi (Andre) Taylor, Christopher (Carla) Tabangcura, and Britney Tabangcura; and her great-grandchildren, Amelia Taylor, Rahmoni Taylor, Safiah Taylor, and Kobe Tabangcura.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 21, 2026, at Norman’s Mortuary in Wailuku. Public viewing will begin at 9:00 a.m., followed by services at 10:00 a.m. Burial will take place at 2:00 p.m. at Maui Memorial Park Cemetery.

The family would like to thank everyone for their love, prayers, and support during this difficult time. Gloria will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
