Harold Jerome Jacintho, 76, passed away peacefully on July 25, 2026.
Born on February 2, 1950, Harold was one of six children. He answered the call to serve his country in the United States Navy from 1968 to 1972 as a Seabee. A proud Vietnam Veteran, he served with honor and distinction, earning the National Defense Service Medal, the Vietnam Service Medal, and the Vietnam Campaign Medal.
Following his military service, Harold worked for Hawaiian Commercial & Sugar Company (HC&S) as a welder and cane hauler.
Harold is survived by his son, Derek Jacintho, daughter, Cindel Jacintho, and his sister, Charlotte (Jacintho) Sato. He was preceded in death by his parents and four siblings.
A service will be held in his memory at Holy Rosary Church on Tuesday, August 25, 2026, Visitation starting at 10:30 a.m., Service at 11:30 a.m. with Burial to follow at Maui Veterans Cemetery at 1:00 p.m.
