Jessie was a loving mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend who truly lived for her family. Her children and grandchildren were her greatest joy, and she loved spending time with them making memories, laughing, and enjoying life together. Jessie had a creative mind and was always working on something—whether it was crafting, working on cars, tackling DIY projects around the house, or coming up with new inventions. She also enjoyed playing tennis with her family and just being together with the people she loved most. Jessie will always be remembered for her strong spirit, kind heart, and the deep love she had for her ʻohana.
She was preceded in death by her father, Harry Jaramillo Sr.; her husband, Ivan Cabrera; and her brothers, Guy Jaramillo and Kevin Uyeda.
She is survived by her mother, Evelyn “Ulu” Jaramillo; her children, Sharlou (Ryan) Jaramillo, Jaylou (Kili) Cabrera, Waileka Cabrera, Elijah Cabrera, and Jayvan Cabrera; her cherished grandchildren, Nolan Fraser Jr., Wesley Fraser, Jaiyana Kaholokula, Kilsten Kaholokula, Kirenena Kaholokula, Kaivana-Kim Kaholokula, and Tyliah Tacang-Sylva; and her siblings, Leslie (Al) Jaramillo, Tracey (Chris) Jaramillo, Harry Jaramillo Jr., Georgette (Chris) Uyeda, and Shantelle (Tyson) Morgon.
A private viewing will be held by the family. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, March 15, 2026 at 12:00 p.m. at Hanakaoʻo Beach Park in Lahaina.
The family would like to send a heartfelt mahalo to all the ʻohana and friends who have shown their love, support, and prayers during this difficult time. Jessie will be deeply missed and forever loved by all who knew her.
