John "Freckles" William Lynn

Born in Lancaster, Ohio on February 13, 1948 to Doris Lynn (Gaines) and William Lynn.

John graduated from Lancaster High School in 1966.

He worked at Anchor Hocking before departing in April of 1981 to Maui, where he said he "was REBORN".

He spent the next 45 years living ALOHA and lived a great life. He loved golf, swimming, spending time with friends, all sports, rock n roll music, Hot Rod cars, THE Ohio State Buckeyes and the Cleveland Browns. He said he felt at peace swimming with the Turtles.

John is survived by sisters Louise (Jim) Calandra Of Lancaster. Betty (George) Cissell of Wisconsin. Barbie (Jeff) Whittington of Lancaster. Heart Brother Richard Homer. Many nieces and nephews. John loved ALL his Friends. His Dear Lancaster friends and his Dear Maui friends and his Dear Vegas friends. You know who you are. He did not know a stranger.

John was preceded in death by his beloved Mother Doris Gaines, Father William Lynn, Brother Steve Lynn and nephew Bryan Thomas.

Caring cremation has taken place and John will return home and be next to his Mother.

Donations may be made to St Judes Hospital in Johns name.
