Family and friends are invited to gather on Friday, August 31 at Borthwick Norman’s Mortuary in Wailuku. Visitation from 10 am to 2 pm; Services at 11 am and cremation to follow. Burial on Saturday, September 1 at 12 noon at Puuiki Cemetery in Hana. Family requests floral lei only.
He was a retired Mechanic with the County of Maui.
He was predeceased by his wife Maria Oliveira.
He is survived by sons, Firmin Oliveira, Frederick Oliveira, Francis (Carol) Oliveira, James (Alice) Oliveira and Joseph Oliveira; daughters, Francine (Daniel) Walker, Elizabeth (Ronald) Lecker, Rosemary (Robert) Howell and Leona Nelson; brother, Louis (Yaeko) Oliveira; sister, Janet (David) Hill; 27 grandchildren, 52 great grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren.
