Kaulana Waila'ahia Pua'a-Freitas, 44, of Kapuna, Maui, entered the gates of Heaven on Sunday, January 5th 2025. She was born on July 17th, 1980 at Maui Memorial Medical Center to William Ka'u Freitas and Ursula Pua'a-Freitas of Kapuna, Maui. She was a 1998 graduate of H.P. Baldwin High School. After high school, she continued her education at Maui Community College and graduated with her Associates Degree in Business.
She is survived by her parents, William Ka'u Freitas and Ursula Pua'a-Freitas (George Palenapa Shaw); her sister Miki'ala; brothers Kau (Lehua), Nahinu, and Hanoa (Raven); nieces Zoe and Zyrah; and nephews Dayzen, Kylo, Haloa, Ha'akea and Hapu'u.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at Norman's Mortuary from 9am-11am. Burial will be at Ka Home Maha Mau Cemetery at 12:00pm. Luncheon to follow in Kapuna's at 3pm.
