Lionel Victor Amoral, 88, of Makawao, HI, passed away on Tuesday, July 10, 2018. He was born in Makawao on July 28, 1929. Lionel was a Truck Driver for Land & Construction; followed by Lawn Mower Operator for the County of Maui where he retired. He was known as “The Sausage Man”; he and his wife owned Lionel & Lorraine’s Sausage House from 1952.
He is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Eva Lorraine Amoral; sons, Lionel Amoral Jr., Ricky Amoral (Renee); daughter, Patty Corden (Dennis); siblings, Richard Amoral, Manuel Amoral, Lorraine Freitas, Lucille Montalvo, Joseph Amoral; 5 grandchildren, Wendy (Ryan), Troy (Jina), Tiffany (Bj), Alicia, Rick; and 3 great-grandchildren, Cianna, Ty, and Nalia.
Viewing will be at St. Joseph Church in Makawao on Saturday, July 21, 2018 at 10:00 am, service at 11:00am, and burial to follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.
