Lorie Lamont, 54, of Haiku, Maui, passed away on September 18, 2015 at Maui Memorial Medical Center. She was born on February 7, 1961 in California.Lorie was honored to paddle recreationally with Na Kai ‘Ewalu Canoe Club on Maui and treasured those friendships. She worked in spite of her illness, had enormous drive and true grit. Lorie’s company of 25 years, “The Plant Lady”, had accounts in Seattle & Bellevue, Washington.Lorie was a foster parent to Alex Lamont. They loved each other dearly and that will always remain the same.She is survived by her mother Janeth Lingenfelter; father J. David Lingenfelter; brother George David Lingenfelter; sister Julie (Eric) Kiesel; nieces Jenny, Liz; nephews Brian, Ben; uncle Ward (Kacy) Caldwell; cousins Kim, Pamela (daughters-Madie, Allie); and her companion dog Samantha.
