Lorraine Vera Paiva Medeiros, 79, of Kahului, passed away on Sunday, September 18, 2011 at the Maui Memorial Medical Center. Mrs. Medeiros was born on August 13, 1932 in Paia, Maui. She was a homemaker. She is survived by her husband, Stanley L. Medeiros, Sr.; two sons, Stanley L. Medeiros Jr. and Kenneth W. (Judy) Medeiros; a daughter, Vanessa A. Medeiros; a sister, Vivian Kayatani; four grandchildren, Ashley (Blaise) Haleakala, Alexander Medeiros, Michelle Medeiros, and Nichole Medeiros; and two great grandchildren; Staysia Haleakala and Kylie Lorraine Haleakala. She is preceded in death by her parents, Manuel and Eliza Paiva.
Visitation: Family and friends are invited to gather for funeral services on Friday, September 30, 2011 at St. Anthony Catholic Church. Visitation will begin at 9:30 a.m.Services: Mass at 11:30 a.m.Interment: Burial will follow at 1 p.m. at Maui Veteran's Cemetery in Makawao.
