Lourdes was a hardworking and devoted woman who spent many years working at Kapalua Bay Hotel & Villas and Harvest Linens. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, and sewing, and found her greatest joy in caring for her family. She will be remembered for her gentle spirit, kind heart, and the love she shared with everyone who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Francisco Icat; her adopted son, Michael Mendoza Icat; and her brothers, Rogelio Mendoza Sr., Alejandro Mendoza, Pedro Mendoza, and Rodrigo Mendoza.
Lourdes is lovingly survived by her adopted daughter, Angelica Icat; her adopted grandchildren, Ryan Concepcion, Kimberly Haluber, and Kyla Haluber; her sisters, Paulina Galarita and Milagros Manglicmot; her sister-in-law, Lety Cambe; and many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends who will forever cherish her memory.
Funeral services will be held at Christ the King Church in Kahului. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, August 14, 2026, followed by Service at 7:00 p.m. Services will continue on Saturday, August 15, 2026, with visitation from 9:00 a.m., Mass at 11:00 a.m., followed by burial at 12:30 p.m. at Maui Memorial Park, Garden Of Meditation. Family and friends are warmly invited to attend as they gather to celebrate Lourdes' life and honor her memory.
