Maria Mahealani Marciel Oliveira, 84, of Hana, passed away on Friday, November 4, 2011 at her home. Mrs. Oliveira was born on November 8, 1927 in Hana, Maui. She was retired from Hotel Hana Maui. Mrs. Oliveira is survived by her husband, Joseph Oliveira Jr.; her five sons, Firmin Oliveira, Frederick Oliveira, Francis (Carol) Oliveira, James (Alice) Oliveira, and Joseph Oliveira; four daughters, Francine (Daniel) Walker, Elizabeth (Ronald) Lecker, Rosemary (Robert) Howell, and Leona Nelson; a brother, Francis Marciel; three sisters, Mary (Delwin) Beazley, Ellen Kekela Kahalehoe, and Madeline Medeiros; twenty seven Grandchildren; fifty one great grandchildren; and five great-great grandchildren.
Visitation: Family and friends are invited to gather for funeral services on Friday, November 11, 2011 at Borthwick Norman's Mortuary. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.Services: Service at 11 a.m. Cremation will follow.Interment: Her urn will be buried 2 p.m. on Saturday, November 12, 2011 at the Pu'uiki Cemetery in Hana.
