Mary Leticia Dat-ay Baysa

Mary passed away peacefully on Friday, September 27, 2024 at the age of 71 surrounded by her loved ones.

Born in Baringcucurong, Suyo, Ilocos Sur, Philippines on October 6. 1952.

Mary Leticia was the daughter of Crisologo Dat-ay and Dominga (Equias) Dat-ay.

Mary immigrated from the Philippines to Hawaii in December 1989 with her husband Clemente and children Michael, Marvin and Rowelyn. After a short stay on Oahu, they moved to Maui to start the next chapter. Mary worked at the Fairmont Kea Lani in Wailea Maui in Housekeeping until her retirement in 2022. She enjoyed her time in the garden tending to her many plants and orchids as she had a natural green thumb. But mostly she enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren.

Mary Leticia is survived by her husband Clemente Baysa, son Michael Baysa (Nikki). son Marvin Baysa (Michelle), daughter Rowelyn Perkett (James and grandchildren Jomel Michaet, Alysha Lia, Mya Faith, Angelo Roben, Chloe Lei, Ethan Tyler, Alexander James, and Trey Andrew and siblings Floresita Bistoyong. Jaime Dat-ay, many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. She is predeceased by her eldest son Jomel.
