Melvin “Inong” Bautista Santos, 24, of Kahului, passed away on July 25, 2016. He was born on September 30, 1991, in Pedro L. Quines, Tarlac, Philippines. Melvin had a passion for cooking and was a chef at the Wow Wee Maui’s Kava Bar and Grill in Kahului.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 10, 2016 from 6 p.m.-9 p.m. and on Thursday, August 11, 2016 from 9 a.m. - 11 a.m., (service will begin at 11 a.m.) at Norman’s Mortuary. Burial to follow at the Valley Isle Memorial Park Cemetery in Haiku at 2 p.m.
He is survived by his girlfriend, Apple Grace Solis and was a loving father to their children, Jestin Bryce Solis Santos and Jacob Brysen Solis Santos (deceased). He is the son of Bonifacio & Levita Santos. Melvin is also survived by his brothers, Romnick (Abegail) Santos, Crispin (Sheena) Santos and sister, Irene Santos (Mark) Rinen.
