Mindy Ann Munroe, of Pukalani, passed away on Saturday, October 1, 2011 at Maui Memorial Medical Center. She was born on May 12, 1984 in Wailuku, Maui. Mindy attended Grade School in Makawao and graduated from high school after completing a home schooling curriculum. Mindy was totally computer literate and was interested in finance, fashion and journalism. She loved butterflies and the color green. She is survived by her mother, Sally Fernandez of Pukalani; her father Kirk Munroe Jr. of Hilo; Sisters Dolores Fernandez, Kathie Fernandez, and Brother Edward Fernandez Jr.; Grandmother, Agnes Fernandez. Mindy was Pre-deceased by Grandfather Edward Fernandez Sr. Mindy also leaves many nieces and nephews all from Upcountry Maui; Grandmother Dorcas Turoski of San Diego, CA. Grandfather, Kirk Munroe Sr. of Naples, Florida (formally of Maui); Aunt Marcia Griffith, La Mesa, CA. & Uncle Ronald Munroe of Poway, CA & families.
