

Mnason passed away on September 20, 2025 in Wailuku, Maui, Hawai‘i.
He was born in Honolulu, O‘ahu on June 18, 1978 to Terell Aalona Nakihei Sr. and Ramona Soo Basa Akima.
He worked at Roberts Hawaii Maui Transportation, Noenoe Lindsey, Hensel Phelps Construction-Maui and Good Fellow Brothers.
Mnason loved playing the ukulele, cooking, playing chess, working, weightlifting, helping people, fellowship with friends, Word of Life Church, and spending time with his children.
He is survived by his four children, Makana Keakuamana Nakihei, Micah Kealewaihauakeakua Nakihei, Leimana Kahiwa O Keakua Nakihei, Isaiah Keanu Nakihei; His father, Terell Aalona Nakihei Sr.; his mother, Ramona Soo Basa Akima; his brother, Terell Aalona Nakihei Jr. (Kristen Richardson Demello); his sister, The Late Theora Princess Kahiwaokeakua Nakiheihis nephews, and his grandnephew.
Mnason will forever be missed.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, October 16, 2025 at Norman’s Mortuary in Wailuku, Visitation at 6:00 p.m.; Service at 8:00 p.m.; Burial will be held in Homelani Cemetery in Molokai on Saturday, October 18, 2025 at 10:00 a.m.
