Nicasio Federick Pasion

Nicasio, affectionately known as “Junior”, “Pinto”, and “Nick”, was born in Paia, Maui, on June 7th, 1947. He was the son of Nicasio C. Pasion and Alipia Pasion. He attended Paia Elementary School and graduated from Maui High School in 1965. Following high school, he attended Honolulu Community College then obtained his General Contractor’s License. Throughout the years, he built numerous residential dwellings and business buildings on Maui and the Big Island.

Among his hobbies were singing, especially karaoke, playing the guitar and ukulele, enjoying card games with friends and family, as well as playing tennis. He was well known and loved for his fun-loving nature and his humorous, outgoing personality.

Nicasio is survived by his wife, Sandra, son, Troy (Diane), daughter, Nikki Ortogero (Chris); grandchildren, Reilly and Paige Pasion, and Aeszalyn Ortogero; sister, Camilla Carino (Julio), sister, Florence Lomaoang, brother, Rufino “Pinky” Pasion (Rowena); beloved Shih Tzu Lola; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 2, 2023 at Norman’s Mortuary, 105 Wai`ale Road, Wailuku. Private family visitation, will be from 8am. Public visitation will be from 9am followed by the service at 10 am.
