Nicholas James Linford, 47, of Maui, died in Kahului on December 26, 2025.
The youngest of three boys, he was born in Layton Oklahoma in 1978 to Kathryn Louise Swank, and Frank Samuel Linford. The family bounced around before settling in Payette Idaho, in 1993 where he met and fell in love with Natoshia Becker. Together they had two daughters, Abbie and Hana Linford. There was nothing more important to Nick than having a good time with family. They spent their time camping and backpacking all over the state of Idaho, road tripping, hot springing, rocking out at concerts, and coming up with silly family games.
Nick moved to Hawaii in 2019. He spent their last 6 years of his life enjoying the slow pace of the islands, being a grandpa to two grandchildren, and discovering a newfound love for fire spinning.
Nick was preceded in death by his father, Frank Linford. He is succeeded by his mother, Kathryn, and two brothers Timothy and Frank, his beloved daughters, and his two grandchildren, Emery and Brielle.
