Petra Domingcil Rivera

Petra Domingcil Rivera, 85, of Kahului, Maui, passed away on June 23, 2017, at her home, under the care of Hospice Maui. She was born on July 12, 1931, in Bacarra, Ilocos Norte, Philippines.Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Friday, July 14, 2017, at Christ the King Catholic Church; prayer service will begin at 7:00 p.m. Visitation will also be held from 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 15, 2017, at Christ the King Catholic Church; mass will begin at 9:30 a.m.; burial will follow, 10:30 a.m., at Maui Memorial Park Cemetery in Wailuku.Petra was a retired planter at Hawaiian Commercial & Sugar Company. She is survived by her husband, Ignacio Rivera; children, Marcelino (Esmenia) Rivera, Florentino (Conchita) Rivera, Leonor Rivera Rafael, Sonny (Erlinda) Rivera, Mark (Lucia) Rivera; sisters, Lucena Calma of the Philippines, Elena Ramos of the Philippines; 14 grandchildren, Michael, Michelle, Kathleen (William) Dominno, Bradley James Rivera, Philip (Janelle) Rafael, Lorna Rafael, Carlene (Jay-Me) Morita, Joel (Angela) Rivera, Jonathan (Vangie) Rivera, James Rivera, Lianne Rivera, Bethany Rivera, Mark Andrew Rivera, Hosea Rivera; and 10 great grandchildren, Christian Isaiah Dominno, Kayla Deanne Dominno, Auvay Rafael, Naiara Rafael, Nikki Rafael, Kamaehulei McEwen, Isabella Roldan, Kylee Rivera, Mailani Rivera, and Ayana Rivera.
