Richard G. Chiasson, 70, of Wailuku, Maui passed away on September 14, 2025. Born in Lewiston, Maine on February 12, 1955 to parents (both deceased) Lionel and Rejeanne Chiasson also of Auburn, Maine.
Richard made his way to Maui over 40 years ago and became part of the Maui ohana. He cared deeply for those less fortunate and spent many years working with the Maui Food Bank as well as the Homeless Shelter (Ka Hale A Ke’ola), preparing meals and delivering food to the needy in the community. Richard was also a member of the Calvary Chapel in Wailuku. He was a music lover, sports fanatic and eclectic collector.
He is survived by brothers Robert Chiasson of Paia and Ronald Chiasson of Dunedin, Florida.
The family extends their heartfelt gratitude and love for those who shared their friendship and love with “Dicky”.
Private services will be held.
