Richard Freitas, 88, of Pukalani, died on Tuesday, October 12, 2010 at the Maui Memorial Medical Center. Mr. Freitas was born on May 14, 1922 in Pukalani. He was a retired cowboy at the Haleakala Ranch Company. He is survived by Philip (Cindy) Freitas of Pahrump, Robert Freitas of Pukalani, and Brendan (Eloise) Freitas of Keaau; one hanai son, Isacc Freitas Butterfield of Pukalani; one brother, Walter Freitas; two sisters, Bettty Cravalho and Glayds Caires; nine grandchildren; six great grandchildren
Visitation: Visitation will begin 8:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Tuesday, 19, 2010 at St. Joseph Catholic ChurchServices: Mass at 10 a.m.Interment: Burial to follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
