Robert “Packy” Franco, 79, of Paia, passed away on June 21, 2016 at his home in Paia under the care of his loving family and Islands Hospice. He was born on August 30, 1936, in Paia, Maui. Memorial Services will be held from 9-11 a.m. on Friday, July 8, 2016 at Holy Rosary Church in Paia; Mass will begin at 11 a.m.; Burial to follow, 1 p.m. at Maui Veterans Cemetery, Makawao.Robert is survived by his wife, Eunice Jane Franco of 42 years of marriage; 5 Daughters – Laurie (Don) Saito, Mae Davis, Valerie Pelekai, Leimomilani (Darell) Tanner, Kawewehi Franco; 4 Sons – Ronald (Florence) Pelekai, Regan (Alicia) Pelekai, Randy Pelekai, Kapono Franco; Brothers – Alfred (Nicole) Franco, Malcolm Franco; 17 grandchildren and 24 great – grandchildren.
